Supervision of construction works
Supervision of construction works is a regulated activity by which we as providers of services ensure quality completion of projects and potential financial savings to investors.
Our team of leading experts with engineering skills and continuous professional training at professional seminars, conferences and consultations, provides a quality, responsible and reliable professional supervision service.
We have all the required professional qualifications, authorizations and licenses to carry out professional construction supervision tasks.
In addition to professional supervision as a legally prescribed engineering activity, supervising engineers invest their knowledge and experience to ensure that the project is implemented in accordance with the contract, to a high quality standard, in a timely manner and within the envisaged costs. The supervising engineer will check contractor’s competence, compliance of construction works with all permissions and the approved design, monitor the implementation of quality assurance, take care of occupational safety and environmental protection, and perform all activities prescribed by law. Furthermore, he will also proactively anticipate potential failures and mistakes and enable their timely removal.
For an investor, construction supervision is a guarantee of well-performed services. With its expert knowledge and authority, the supervising engineer coordinates all the parties involved in building activities and controls the implementation of contractual obligations and the spending of the planned financial resources.
Contract supervision (FIDIC)
When the construction contract is contracted in line with the FIDIC (Fédération Internationale Des Ingénieurs-Conseils) contracting model (FIDIC Conditions of Contract for Construction, the so-called Red Book or Yellow Book), the contracting of Engineer services is also mandatory.
The Engineer performs the administrative implementation of the project by strictly defined rules and supervises the construction. In particular, the Engineer monitors the costs and completion deadlines.
The Engineer acts on behalf of the client and his role is defined by the General and Special Conditions.
